Off the topic a tad, but this article mentions that Ecuador is one of the countries that has legalized the personal use of Mary Jane, but there are police checkpoints all over the place where they search for the greenest of all leaves along with narcotics, so I am curious now as to what Ecuador laws actually ARE.

This is massive news for Ecuador, not just because we are talking about a former President here, but we are talking about the arrest of potentially the most popular President in the last 40 years who still has massive support, whom many had hoped would return to politics and run for a fourth term as President.
Massive protests in Haiti over rising gas prices have been going on for several days now.
There are a few church groups stranded there due to the protests. I honestly haven't looked into it much, but once group there is from the county I live in in Tennessee.
