^ I did the same thing, but I was sleeping on the dog instead of someone's lap.
Hey man, a cuddle is a cuddle.
On New Years Eve, Patrick and I went with two of his brothers to dinner. When we got to the restaurant, I pulled my phone out of my pocket, and the screen wouldn't work. The lights on the buttons still came on, so I knew the phone was working, but the screen would not come on. I tilted the phone and noticed cracks UNDER the screen. So, I took it to the AT&T store the next day, and they said I have to send it to Samsung. Patrick is doing that today. For now, I have an old school, flip phone go phone.

That's right, a flip phone.
For up to two weeks.

I'm legitimately surprised. They don't have those at the at&t stores near me.
I went today and got one level up form that. From $14.99 to $29.99 haha. It looks like an off brand first generation Blackberry.
Ah, Blackberry. One must wonder how that is still a thing at all.
So I'm starting a new job on Monday, which is actually pretty cool. It's assembling parts of theater equipment. Pays better than hosting, customers don't bug me, I don't have to run around all day and I don't smell like french fry oil every god damn weekend :D

That being said, it IS reporting to sit down and assemble stuff from 6-3. They allow music and stuff though, can anyone recommend me any podcasts or audiobooks or, yaknow, stuff to listen too?

That is the best kind of job right there. I love me some technical work. My advice, check out some bands you like on Spotify, set up a radio for a few and see what pops out of the woodwork. That's how I suddenly got a taste in music.

In regards to podcasts, I seriously recommend the Internet Box, which they sadly stopped making, and the Comedy Button.
In regards to podcasts i watch a few, but it depends on your sense of humor.

The Mindcrack Podcast
This is a group of gamers that talk mostly about gaming centric stuff, but they also talk about other things. They also all have gaming channels which are also very good and in good variety.

What Do We Know Podcast
A group of friends that usually just talk about any random topic.

The SleepyCast
I need to warn you that this one is the most vulgar one and when I say vulgar I mean it.
They are a group of pretty well known animators on Youtube that talk about nonsensical, funny, random bullshit.
If you like their sense of humor you should definitely check out their animation channels too, which are just as vulgar.
Why do people who go on strikes have to do it the stupidest way possible?

Take the bus drivers, I wasted 20 minutes of my life because the bus I wanted was on strike but the other two that stop at that bus stop weren't, even though when I went to school today all three buses were fine. I mean, if you're going to strike at least keep some sort of consistency.

Hell, why don't they just do something else. Why don't they just put a sign on the oyster card reading saying "Don't swipe, doesn't work" and make the buses lose loads of money as people just get on for free and then taking it off again at the end of the day? The drivers still get paid, the bus service would still run and the only people who'd lose out are the people they are striking against.
I can think of two things about that.

One, the driver did not plan the whole strike thing through enough. Two, they can't drive it for free else it gives the company a stronger reason to fire them and preventing the union from helping the driver get their job back.
Packing to move is a pain in the ass.
In my forensics class, we were doing a lab which demonstrates how fingerprints are found and collected. Near the end, two ladies were messing around with the black lights we were using with some powder, and took selfies with the lights on their teeth, shining white. I don't have the courage to tell them that's how people detect semen...

I read a story once by this teen. They were in science class looking at stuff under the microscope. The teacher gave them q-tips, and they swabbed the inside of their cheeks and looked at that magnified. One girl in class went "Something's moving in mine!" She had no idea...
