I really don't get the logic behind it. It doesn't get in the way though so I don't mind too much.

Gotta chose between Woody or Buzz Lightyear?
Working at a kids salon during the week before back to school is ROUGH.

Any good stories about parents refusing to allow their kids to get certain haircuts ?

Not really. It's mostly parents who refuse to let their little boys have long hair, and refuse to let their little girls have short hair. I'll have to go into detail sometime. It's funny and sad.
Patrick got Windows 10 and really likes it.

In other news, we're about to need a new tv. Our screen and sound randomly go out for about two seconds every so often.
Finding out there is an Evangelion parody that starts and ends with the Red Dwarf theme is probably the best thing that I've found on the internet this year. I was laughing pretty hard. I keep forgetting LittleKuriboh is British.

Our one year wedding anniversary is in one week!
Last day until I go to uni and live in the dorm for 3 months or so.

Wish me luck.

Only three months in a dorm ? Not the whole year ?
Our first anniversary was really nice! It was Sunday, but we both got off Sunday and Monday. I had to give him his gift early. I got him a pair of tickets to see Slipknot (one of his favorite bands), and we got him some t-shirts at the show. Then on our actual anniversary I gave him a book. I got an anniversary charm for my charm bracelet, some bath bombs, a t-shirt, a fun "Where's The Zombie?" book (Where's Waldo style!), and a small sign that says 'All You Need Is Love... And A Cat". And he made reservations for Benihana last night! I had never been. It was so good!

Anytime I think of Slipknot, I automatically have Psychosocial Baby going through my head. Great mash up.
Not sure how many of you all follow the rugby World Cup, but what an excellent start for England and France ! This is going to be a good tournament :D

Very happy for Japan, well deserved victory for the most improved team since 2011 (or even 2013).

Jesus, has it been this long sense I've last been here?
Interesting fact for if you ever are trying to lose weight that my love told me after coming home from her medical seminar :

The hormones that cause those annoying hunger pangs and that general desire to eat food can take two years after you lose weight to fall to 'normal' levels.
That's one of the reasons why some people regain their weight; the hunger remains.

So the lesson is, even after you lose the weight, it's not going to be easy to keep it off for a while.

I thought that was interesting !

Another very interesting thing that the speaker said, I was told, was that people seem to think that being overweight = bad, end of story.
But not enough people know that it's much better to put on a reasonable amount of weight, or be reasonably overweight due to a balanced diet, than to have an unbalanced one trying to be skinny. It's all about eating well.
