It's weird needing to be awake at 4:30 AM. I peek my head in here during my early break and it's a ghost town. Curse you people and your luxury of being able to sleep until decent hours of the day ;p
I wish I was consistently asleep at 4:30 AM. It can be hard sometimes.
I'm told that on AO3 the best way to judge whether your story is any good is if you get 1 kudos for every ten hits. I'm currently at 28 kudos for a story that has 216 hits, so that makes me pretty happy. I've actually never had a story hit 30, so I really hope that it happens!

Like I said, I know I suck, but with that particular one I tried really, really hard.

Glad to hear you're feeling good about your writing, Hex.:) Seriously probably does too.

Hahaha I had written something congratulatory, but it was obviously not meant to be.

Just speechless appreciation. :)

Deviating in subject, I have a heck of a lot more free time than I anticipated. It could be because I have 2 classes instead of the usual 5...
Well, parliament's back in full swing in just over a week !
I think they're itching for cross-country consultations, because over the space of a month, I'll be travelling on three trips for a total of about 18,000kms (about 11,000 miles), including 9,500kms over five days. Not quite sure how that last one's going to work. I'm guessing sleep, do public hearings and fly to the next city, rinse, repeat.
Expect less activity as weekends are spent convalescing in bed.
...I was vacuuming and forgot behind one the doors is a mirror for some odd reason. MY REFLECTION SCARED THE LIFE OUT OF ME.
God Damn. I couldn't access anything on my external harddrive for some reason. I didn't really mind at the time since I was going to sleep soon, but when I checked Task Manager, explorer.exe was using 5000k worth of memory.

The highest I've seen anything use is Firefox at 2000k, and that's when I have 40 tabs open or something.
Oh man.

First time in my life where I've opened a bag of Cheese and Onion crisps where I was blasted with a scent of Onions, and the crisps tastes like Onions.

I mean, I never liked the Onion part of Cheese and Onion crisps, so it's like a whole new experience.
*whew* An auction ended while I was unable to get away. The price went way higher than what it started at, but I still managed to win. Got another one finishing in two hours I think I'll be able to sneak away and babysit. I always get concerned about items being put up I've never seen before; don't know how rare they are.

...Will I ever have a complete Adachi collection? ><
So I went to first Convention in the form of Dental Con. While the convention itself was somewhat underwhelming(There wasn't any Tooth cosplay!:0) and it was just rows of booth that gived away Candy and Cheap Pen, I genuinely had fun. It was more to the response of the atmosphere and how big the Convention building that got to me. Also how hard each boother was trying to advertise their portable operatory, state of the art "loupes"(basically magnifying glasses), and gimmicky teeth whitening pen.

Also, I won't run out of Pens in the foreseeable future. That's a plus.

Just use a white-out pen, problem solved, fraction of the price.
Done with my nine day work stretch! Gonna sleep without an alarm tonight; I don't carer if it's not until noon that I wake up.

...I'm probably gonna die next week, though, right before my vacation. I have to work 5:30 AM to 7:30 PM on the weekend. My paychecks are going to be stacked because of how much I'm working... The downside is that I'm only human. It gets kind of difficult. I wish I didn't have so many financial burdens so I could say no.
