Space Jockey sent me a buddy request a few days ago. Which I accepted of course, but still confused.
This is a new thing right.....this isn't something that no one has sent me a request for....
....right?

Ahh crap, he knows.
Pack it up, folks ! We're heading back to DYKG.
Only one person, on this forum. WHY!
Spoiler:Honestly I'm not pissed or anything, I was just surprised. I see no real reason to actually add anyone since it just seems like a friend list that tells you when a person is online and allows for somewhat easier PM's

Kaijiiiiiii ! Ahem.
I don't think I have anyone on my buddy list --more useful, I think, on very large fora where there are different groups and not just one blob of friends like here.
I only have one friend, and that only because they sent the request. I don't talk to anyone on here over PM so I never saw the use of sending friend requests. Doesn't make us any less of friends in my eyes.
This forum has a friends list system? Place is so small that it feels kind of pointless really. A carryover from the framework I would presume.

Yeah we've had it since DYKG. Most forums have this.
How having a new job that has a lot of time at home on the computer is going:
Getting berated by well meaning family members for spending too much time online. Yaaaay.
Man, don't you hate it when you find some cool piece of trivia but you can't find a source, yet you could prove it if you had to?
Like, take World Cup USA 1994 for the Sega CD. That was the first game to ever have an option for widescreen. Yet, I can't find any information apart from forum posts to prove it. I could take a picture myself, but that would only prove that it has a widescreen option in the game.
I mean it could be wrong, there might be a game beforehand that had a widescreen option, but even a simple google will show you that it's this World Cup USA game.
THIS IS A FRIENDLY REMINDER THAT I LOVE ALL OF YOU
*goes back into hiding*

TAKE ME HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME
I'm seeing facebook feeds of a girl I know taking selfies with Pewdiepie as she works somewhere were he frequents and they talk and shit.
Apparently, he lives like 2 miles from where my uni is.
Heh, that's pretty cool. Never much cared for his content, but he's always seemed like a pretty swell guy.

Nothing like pooping with your favourite YouTuber.
It's just me or does the word "triggered" is getting a bit too popular nowadays? Because i'm seeing a bunch of 12 years old using the word all the time (probably becuase they think it makes then look smarter or something).
Nothing new. Its not really something people use to seem smart. Its just become part of people's speech. Every couple years, the medical community comes up with a new word for various conditions because people start re-appropriating them.
