I once got called out for asking a guy if he had bought booster packs with that amount of money. Apparently that's sacrilegious or something. Have I offended some MTG cult?

Eh, it depends on how he plays. If he's drafting, which is where you buy a ton of packs in bulk with some buddies and make decks out of cards you randomly pull from those, it's fine. Otherwise in a constructed deck format, i.e. every other game type where you make decks, you're better off just buying the cards you need if they're not crazy expensive.

Fun fact: Once I pulled a Tarmygoyf, otherwise known as one of the single rarest competitive cards in the game, and sold it back to the store for $60. It is now worth ~$160-$210 and would at least double my collection value, but I needed that shitty $60 headset that broke in a few months man.

The thing is, he thought I was making fun of him because apparently the only reasonable thing to do, ever, is buy those starter packs that give you some basic set without actually getting into the whole collectible card game part.
I found out about this thing:
http://www.jcretail.ca/rockman-7-duel-of-fate/
it's a bootleg version of Megaman 7 that is literally the same game but with a different decal on the cartridge.
i'm sorry but were they even trying at this point?
Well, its a bootleg, not a innovation.

That's a repro that they just felt the need to add a subtitle to.
I don't know if I'm going to post it yet, but I may be giving the magic school bus the mad max treatment because I'm bored.

That sounds glorious and cannot not be posted.
Every once in a full moon, I go and do things i normally don't do.
Spriting is one of those things.

You know, after 8 or so years of hearing it on and off, Never gonna give you up actually isn't a bad song.

Really, it's not that bad...

Is there a level beyond being Rick Rolled? Cause you're there.

There is a list of songs that people don't like that I find preaty good.

Never going to give you up
What is love?
Baby (young Justen makes the song terrible, but adult Justen makes it sound half way decent)
even Friday can be good if you have someone sing it, change the instruments, change the words, and make it another song entirety....... wait

On a simaler note, my brother has shown me how you can make any Flow Rider song better by removeing Flow Rider, and he's right. I also found out that Whistle is a horrible song even without Flow.
People don't like What is Love? Heathens...
Also, here's the next level.
Windows 10 'free' upgrade has popped up on my toolbar.

"Sweet" I think. Then I look online and apparently, the 'free' is only for a year. So what's the bloody point ?
I'm not going to fork out 100-odd dollars for an OS when I've had this one (8) for hardly a year just because it's free for a year.

Any particular reason that could persuade me to go for it ?
A year is a long time, but then I don't want to buy a new OS when 8 is just fine for me, and would seek to revert from 10 to 8.
