When you get your Saint's Row character
just right.
I discovered something neat in Pokemon Yellow; not sure if you'll get exactly the same result in Red/Blue.
You know that trick where you take a step and Teleport away just as an exclamation point goes up above a trainer's head, you then get into a battle, and then you walk until you trigger a random encounter in a location where one shouldn't occur? There's a person in the entrance to the tunnel that leads to Vermilion City. If you talk to them after doing the Teleport and battle, then walk up Nugget Bridge, you will always fight a level 80 Starmie instead. I tried this a few times and it continued to happen.
I think the Cubone that person wants to trade has something to do with Starmie appearing, but I have no idea what makes it be level 80.
Considering doing a heavily modified FONV playthrough after I finish my current 4 one. Want to see how my computer handles recording it, and if it does well enough, then that could be something fun to throw at y'all.
Pokémon Red and Blue turn 18 in North America !
I'm just starting my survival run. It took me to level 18 to finally take Hangman's Alley, but I didn't have enough material to set up my settlement beacon. My solution was to raid the nearby USS Riptide. As it turns out, raider power armor tanks pretty damn well, because the dude on there took over 130 shots from an automatic staggering laser pistol. I head back, set up my beacon, start building turrets, then walk away to scrap some weapons. A raider walks into the settlement and is promptly killed by the turrets. I check to see if there are any others, and the turrets kill me. Any idea what causes this? Survival isn't worth it if this is gonna be a normal thing.
Tried streaming FO:NV. Anyone catch it? It seemed to stream alright.
To this day I still wonder if Pizza left at room temp is safe to eat after a day and 12 hours...
...ah man I got pizza grease on my keyboard again.
So hyped. My package that has some pretty rare video game related merchandise is already in the US and out of customs in Chicago. Would work out perfectly if my local post office gets it to deliver on Monday.
Urp... That package is making really good time; it may be ready to be delivered tomorrow.
Shoe doesn't like doing even the smallest thing for me so I doubt I can convince my mom to sign for it. Packages always arrive between 9 and 11 AM, so I don't think that's too long to ask for her to wait for it.
The figure is cold cast, so very breakable, and I don't want it to get jostled around more than necessary.
Hopped on Xenoverse on PC after messing around a bit, helping my bro get stuff for it on PS4, and I can't believe how much smoother it is. I don't remember it being so smooth when I was 100%'ing it.
Was considering changing my Avatar and Signature with some new Phoenix Wright gifs, sadly one of the ones I would use would've been a spoiler.
I would've used this for an avatar (with some tweaking so it would fit):
And this for a signature
Shame it would've been a spoiler, I've been due a new coat of paint on my profile for 2-3 years now.
^
OMG. After the game's been out for a year you should have a Bonny avatar and I'll take Betty! I LOVED them!
^
I guess changing to Bonny doesn't hurt regardless of the signature spoiler.
Scuttlebutt will just have to do.
My New 3DS came back from the Repair place. Picked up SSB3DS and ordered FE:Conquest, hoping I still have some of the Tactical RPG aura in me.
UPDATE: Despite years of playing Melee, I'm back to Square One in terms of mastering basic techniques and competitive streak.
Wow, I just found out that another game I own is pretty rare/valuable. Kuon for the PS2, of all things! That game isn't even that good.
