I really don't think the show has ruined anything. It's not like all the weird shit online based on other games/shows I know has ruined them for me. Then again, if random fanart ruins something for you, I'm sorry for that. I'm not saying Retro necessarily means it but he kinda makes it sound like every single person watching the show is a complete doofus. It's not like I'm pushing anything here, just commenting on the latest episode.

Though to be fair, she's used in the context just for the reference, not an actual ponification of Rose Tyler. The official name's Roseluck, I believe.

Yes, yes I have. Oh lord, is it so cringey. There are no words as to how corny 4Kids can be at times.

There are reasons why 4Kids died off. Stuff like that certainly helped.

I still remember anime fans being happy as hell when 4kids died off. They weren't gonna be missed. One of the things that still bothered me about their ways of censoring was the fact that they censored/butchered things that weren't even harmless. Someone I know on the internet told me that there was an Winx club episode where they digitally edited out a silhouette of a breast from one of the main characters. Even though you couldn't see it in the original clip, just removing the breast altogether was just plain stupid.

The one thing that I kept hearing was 4Kids getting shows that had a lot "adult" themes and censoring everything that was risque. It became a joke with a few of my friends that "most of their licenses were not 4kids."

On the topic of removing breasts from cartoons/anime, I remember that they also censored the hell out of the original Sailor Moon (they being DiC, not 4Kids). I've heard that one scene with Sailor Moon herself (never seen the show, so I have no idea what her name is) in the bath had her cleavage removed, which I also heard happened during the Henshin/transformation (which ever you prefer) to remove the outlines of their breasts and butts. Hearing all of this I wonder two things to myself.
1. Do fans of the original DiC Sailor Moon get as mad as the fans of 4Kids?
2. How did people find out about these changes?

Yu-Gi-Oh! does this a lot too. They were handled by 4kids originally so its affected the perception of the game as to make it "4kids".

What's interesting about the Yugioh dub is that the designs of the cards were made up. They became big pictures with nothing but an attribute or atk/def points on them because it was easier than putting English text on the cards that have Japanese on there.

It was an interesting design that stuck with the show for a while. They had descriptions in the Movie for the dub, but I can't remember if they kept the design until 5D's or Zexal.

That was more of a decision on part so they didn't have to remake the cards for every language.

I know every fandom has their groups of people that make it seem like a cesspool, but it just seems like Steven Universe has the absolute worst fans.

First it was bullying a girl into attempting suicide on Tumblr because she didn't draw the character "right" and now they're even going after writers on the show (one recently deleted her Twitter). They're so hyper sensitive and ready to scream about absolutely everything they find "problematic".

It's one of the best kids cartoons that's been on TV in a long time so it's upsetting that so many people think it's OK to hurt real people over fictional characters.

Last I checked those fans were pretty awful. Although, I'm not big on checking up on cartoon fanbases these days.

Oh, really? All I ever heard about MLP was that people were getting creeped out by the "Bronies" and some boys have been made fun of for liking something so "girly". I've never heard about the fans turning on the shows creators, fighting about character's orientations, or flipping their shit over who people ship. 

It's just stuff I've seen floating around so I did a little investigating. Like, here's a little blurb you can find on Wikipedia:

Heh, for Fallout, we usually say that group is No Mutants Allowed. They're not actually a bad group of people. A good few of them don't like the direction Fallout has gone, but that plus the expected hyperbole of a few years and this being the internet has made them seem worse.

You're not implying that the cesspool of the Fallout franchise fanbase are the original fans of the games?

I mean, if they're just people spouting "ONLY FALLOUT 1 AND 2 WERE GOOD. FALLOUT 3 AND NV SUCK" then fair enough, but if they're giving actual criticism of the games in comparison to Fallout 1 and 2, then that's fair.

I'd say the worse Fallout fans are the ones who seriously think Fallout 3 and 4 are the best games in the series, are superior to the originals and NV. The fans that actually like the fact Fallout 4 has no RPG elements besides a level up system, the people who believe that the new "Dialogue Wheel" is good in Fallout 4, the people who think the story in Fallout 3 was good.

I dunno, I guess what you said kinda irked me because I could be part of the NMA group and trust me, there are worse fans in Fallout than those guys that prefer the originals.

First off, the reason that a friend of mine gave for the bullying was because they drew the fat character (no idea what her name is, never saw the show) skinny and "that's how (character name here) wanted to be. If she wanted to be skinny, she would have chose that type of body." Ok. I understand you explanation and, though I don't know what you're talking about, I get where you're coming from. However, YOU DO NOT BULLY SOMEONE BECAUSE THEY WANT TO FUCKING DRAW SOMETHING THEY LIKE!!!!!!! Like yeah that's not part of the character design, but do you want to know something? I see so many Amy Rose/Shadow the Hedgehog ships, Fat Rosalina pictures, and just so much porn of people who are celibate or asexual, and yet I don't get upset at these things. I may not like fat Rosalina, but I don't tell people to kill themself for make picture of her. I'm just glad to see people express themself in a way they find comfrble.

Secondly, I've met fans of Steven Universe that have gone "Yeah, we don't acknowledge those fans. They make us look bad and we don't like that side of the fandom."

I haven't met a bad brony. It's more the haters that make it look bad for whatever reason. The fans just go around showing love for a children's show, which last I checked, is what a good number of anime fans do with Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon. It's a little girl's show? So what? Most boys when I was little watched Power Puff Girls and Talked about it all the time. It's just a show. I've seen worse shows. They could be talking about Monster High. The Haters need to stop hating. If you don't like the show, don't watch it. If I can deal with the Doge meme everywhere I go, Haters can deal with MLP.
