I wonder who would like that? Maybe Cody, but don't quote me on it.

Same News, Different Wordings.
Slow news day, huh?

That's how it has been the past few days.
Quote:On getting permission to use Mega Man as a character, Sakurai said it was easy. Polygon wrote, "The Smash Bros. version of Mega Man focuses more on his ability to absorb others' powers, de-emphasizing punching and kicking."
That doesn't answer a thing.
If Namco is working on it, we better see a whole bunch of Namco characters at least. Pac-Man and Jin anyone? I mean seriously adding characters is great and I understand this is a huge fan service but to really hit this ball out of the park they will need to do a great story mode.

Brawl had a very weak story, well if you can call it one. I mean Nintendo, think! What are all these characters doing together? Make an actual story and this thing will hit home! It can be as basic as how Street Fighter x Tekken had their story and this would be great.

So you're telling me that a bunch of NAMCO characters should be in a NINTENDO game just because they are working on it with them? Also besides that Sakurai already said Namco isn't getting character priority, so there isn't a very good chance for many Namco characters to show up in Smash Bros.

For the Namco Bandai section - http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/06/14/e...smash-bros

I'd rather have more Nintendo centralized characters to be honest. One of the reasons which makes Smash to amusing.

As for the story, as much as I love Nintendo, I don't expect a "well written" story at all. It's a big blast of a party where everyone just gets together with the worlds mixing and kicks each other as. Being one who usually loves story, I'm still perfectly happy with that for a series like Smash.

Also, as much as I didn't like Subspace Emissary (due to the gameplay there), I have to admit that I loved some of the scenes from there. Two I'd like to point out is the one where Rob appears and the one where Luigi appears.

Try fixing the pic, it's not showing up for me.
My question is that now that smash bros 4 is for 3ds and wii U, how does this game motivate gamers to buy wii U?
Eh, I would hardly be surprised if not ONE Namco character appeared. I'm not saying the cast is going to be 50 / 50 like it's Marvel Vs. Capcom, but one? Practically guaranteed.

Many people still have the mentality of "lolfighters on handhelds" and many are going to prefer buying it on the WiiU, both the competitive players and the casual ones.

I'm sure it's going to sell really well on the WiiU. To me, it's more so on getting players to motivate them to buy it on the 3DS, which Nintendo has a way of making people spend all their money.

I admit, I am a "lolfighters on handhelds" person, because you limit what you could potentially doing as opposed to using a fightstick or better control method. The same goes for Smash Bros and using techniques like wave dashing. We'll see when it comes out.

I KNOW. All I want is for Isaac or Matthew to be playable...hell, I'd be happy with any Golden Sun rep, but those two are the most likely and Isaac is my favorite character from the series.
Hopefully him and Little Mac end up as real characters and not just trophies.
