If they put the Smash Ball or something like it in the game, I think they'll give Lucario his mega evolution.

Yea i think its going to be a mega evolution it would match him

I actually kind of like this better. It'd cause some fans or others to be pretty pissed depending which mega evo mewtwo would end up with anyway.
As for why its popular, its more or less the only non-legendary with its own dedicated movie.

You mean Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, the movie that was dedicated to him and Mew. If that was true than people should LOVE the Unknown (who are non-legendary by definition), who were more or less the villains of the 3rd movie.

Not really, they weren't a single entity. They were there, and they were the driving force, but it wasn't presented like that. Entei was given main focus and the unown were subjugated to a plot point. Besides, there were many of them, without any real distinction of individual ones, where Lucario went along an entire journey with the main characters.

Little Mac was just confirmed on the Nintendo Direct.

No really, why? He was just fine as an assist trophy. We don't need him as a playable character.

I actually think he has a very different, realistic fighting style compared to the other fighters. I think he'll be one of my favorite characters to play with.

Don't know what you're talking about, but him being a playable character is fantastic. While I'm not a fan of his Final Smash (the big one I believe), everything else about him looks really fun. He moves incredibly fast and throws some wild punches, so you can bet I'll be trying him out. Glad the main character of the Punch Out series is getting some love.

I hope he plays like Captain Falcon did in Melee, not moveset wise, just style.

Personally. I would have preferred Geno being the surprise character for Smash. But either way. Little Mac could be fun to play as.

C'mon Nintendo! I need confirmation of Ike, he's my main man! I love Little Mac and all, he's been in great games, and worked up the ranks to be a playable character, but damnit!

Everyone but me. Like I said, he does not need to be a playable charicter. We have him as an assist trophy, that should be enough. I know someone is going to bring up Charazard as a pokeball, but that is different since he's not all by himself. To me it's like putting in Tingle.

If you want to put in a character that was an assist trophy, let's have these over him:

1. Saki Amamiya
   
2. Waluigi
   
3. Shadow the Hedgehog
   
4. Kat & Ana
   
5. Jill
   
6. Samurai Goroh
   

And if we are going to count the ones that have been announced for the new game, we can add Skull Kid and Ashly. I can think of so much more to do with these characters than with a boxer. I mean really? Giga Mac?


While we are at it, if the amount of people wanting a character was the determining factor, then we would have had Sora, Geno, and Kristal by now (three more I would rather have)
