It didn't really occur to me how much I liked the Subspace Emissary until the option for it was gone. It sucks that Nintendo decided to remove it and I hope they include it in the next Smash.
Since we know there won't be a story mode, I hope we get something like the Adventure Mode and Event Matches from Melee or something similar at least.
Unlocked all the characters, liking Ness, both Samuses, Lucina, Captain Falcon, and Duck Hunt.

Is this really something you can get booted for during a match? That's ridiculous! It's part of the game that if a player is significantly weaker than your other opponents you kick their ass.
Yeah, Sakurai went over all the rules of online play, and thats the only one that worries me. I think thats bullshit too. Heres what can get you banned.
-Targetting a single player (Obviously.)
-Not actively playing
-Inappropriate messaging
-Repeated self destructs
-Dropping Matches
-Modding or other cheating
All of these are okay with me, with the exception of the first one.
Well, I wonder how many matches you're allowed to drop, though? Folks do have internet issues sometimes, so I hope they have a way to keep track of how often someone drops since accidents happen.

Otherwise, yeah, those other rules are fine and dandy.

Yeah, that too. My guess is maybe... Oh I don't know maybe a little over 20 every hour? I expect it to only go for a little bit before the counter resets.

The first one is ment to provent bullying. You never know when the guy doing really badly is just a 5 year old who just wants to win a match and Hex is just taking advantage of him (Hex said it first).

That would be my luck. Living in B.F.E., my internet would most likely be the first one to drop.
^ Tough luck. At that age they'll lose anyway.

I'm not saying I would completely focus on one person, but what happens is that the stronger three will usually just pick the weak link off. Sometimes it just happens that you're attacking the same person on larger maps if they keep being the closest.
I hope the not actively playing thing refers to afk and not not going online for a month.

It's absolutely AFK since it's a very common thing to be booted for in tons of online games.
Pack it up folks

Chaingrab tech

That being said, you can now do an infinite on Sheik so:

Yoki has a very good write up on: perfect pivot/foxtrotting/dashdancing. A lot of good competitive tech coming out of the new Smash...along with a lot of stupidity. The link I posted above is worth reading if you're into that.
I was interested in Little Mac anyway, but him being able to work with the metagame like this is more reason for me to play him. He's been put as a top tier character so far and I see why.
Still though, waiting for that Wii U version.  I don't plan on dashbounching on a Circle Pad. Ughh
Smash Bros tournament being hosted by Nintendo with Bill Trinen (and the awesome Prog) on Mic

Starts in a few minutes!
Well I'll have to make myself some Popcorn or Pizza or something.
Can we do smash run online?
