I have school tomorrow and they have a very strict uniform policy and they'll most likely send me home if I don't wear the right PANTS. I've got everything down except THE PANTS!

I hated having to wear uniforms, but they do it for a good reason I guess.

I quite liked the uniforms we were imposed at school. It meant you didn't have to worry about what others thought about your clothing choice (which is often important when you around that age).

We had to wear black shoes, black socks, black trousers, white shirt, school tie (with the colour of our house) and a black blazer. Penguins, we were.

I secretly wanted my school to have a uniform to wear, just so I could see some of the girls wear skirts to school (my school did not allow us to wear anything but kakey pants and T-shirts). The closest thing I had was an ROTC uniform that everyone who was in the ROTC class had to wear, which had a tie that I hated and still do. If I had to wear something I hated, I would have liked for them to include some thing that other people hated to wear in the dress code (not including belts).

You lucky mofo, we had to wear a white/light blue/dark blue polo and dark blue khaki shorts/pants. You got to look cool.

Sorry i've been disappearing on the weekends. My boyfriend lives about an hour away, and sunday is there only day we both have off, so I usually drive out there to see him saturday after he gets off work.

So on my way to school, I saw a car on fire in the middle of the road. Huh.

Bah. I get that my mom just wants to help, but at the same time I really wish she'd cut the cord already and realize I'm adult and capable of making good choices by myself.

I found out she contacted my realtor and she's taking my uncle to go look at the house I'm most likely going to buy after I make a few more phone calls about the air conditioning installation and getting a shower head installed in a bathroom. After I get an idea of those costs I'll be approaching the lady with an offer.

I don't think my uncle even really knows that much about houses, but whatever. There's nothing I can do about it.
