So, Humble Bundle is giving comedy movies now. Not sure how feel, after all it is a charity and is for a good cause, but comedies seem a little off target.

Awesome job, SERIOUS. Like I said earlier, the high you get stays actually for a few days. At least it did for me. The experience I had was in May, and I still replay all of it in my head every now and then. All of the alternate scenarios still play through my head too (for me, what if I hadn't had enough strength to lift the kid from the water, or got in the water quick enough). But, it doesn't happen near as often now, just with the passing of time. I don't remember the details as well anymore either. But, it still makes you feel good about yourself.

Anyways, congrats. Thank goodness you were there and heard everything. Always be observant. Also, thank goodness you kept a clear head. Many people would come upon a scene like that and just scream their heads off, which would have just made it ten times worse.

Just an update on the woman from the forest's condition.
Thankfully, the metal rod missed the femoral artery and the bone, so there is just some muscle damage that should heal ok. She's been discharged from the hospital and is back home. She and her husband will be coming over for lunch some time soon :)

There's nothing better than watching cartoon on a Saturday afternoon. I've watched a whole bunch of Turtles Double-J and Spawn today.

Ugh, applying for jobs sucks. Can't I just get paid to browse these forums?

Oh do I know what you are talking about. So many jobs out there and they all want you to have some experience to get them. So you need to get experience to get experience to get a job........ Sounds legit to me. Is this an RPG or Real life?

I only work three days this week! Woot woot! I get a three day weekend, one of which I'll be spending at the Renaissance festival. I'm hoping I can find a nice costume to buy to spend at future fairs. However, I have the same trouble with Renaissance outfits that I dis with Halloween costumes: They're made for ladies that are stacked.

Also, on a slightly icky note, I burned my arm at work and Dahlia keeps trying to lick it.
