Huh. Coincidences are funny; it stormed crazy hard here last night as well. I had to retrieve my garbage can out from the middle of the road!

Kinda looked like it would storm all day today. But it didn't. One time I looked up at the sky and yelled: "RAIN ALREADY, I KNOW YOU WANT TO!" ... That didn't go well with people around me.

Last year, we got a rain/thunder storm so hard that everyone was without power for at least a week (some folks I knew near 3 weeks). In the middle of summer. In 100+ degree Fahrenheit temputures. All the food went bad without the fridge. No AC for quite a while (but I never went to a school fancy enough to have AC until 6th grade, and I used to work outdoors quite a bit, so it wasn't too bad).

But that was miserable. Hope none of you get a storm like that anytime soon!

So a huge storm passed through in like an hour. It was darker at 4 PM than it is now at 7:30.

We've still got it in my area. Lighting flashing, thunder booming, all that fun stuff.

I figured it'd be coming by you soon enough. If it's still got the strength it did out here, it'll be gone in a few minutes though. But it was literally black as night here for a little while.

Everyone's talking about thunder storms and I'm just sitting here in California with the heat.
