A couple of news bits regarding the delayed Nintendo Direct:

The title of the new Yoshi game for Switch (which was likely meant to revealed during the direct) was accidently listed too early on Nintendo's website. It's full title is: Yoshi's Crafted World. This showing that it's likely considered a sequel to 2015's Yoshi's Wolly World.

A datamine of Splatoon 2 indicates an update originally planned to be implemented tomorrow is being delayed to the 14th. Some are connecting this to the delayed Nintendo Direct and coming to the conclusion that this means it is also being delayed to the next Thursday (the 13th).
Though a lot of games will have the feature by default, according to listings of Nintendo's website, some Switch games will not be able to use the Cloud Data Backup feature of Nintendo Switch Online.

These include:
  • Splatoon 2
  • Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee
  • Dark Souls Remastered
  • Dead Cells
  • NBA 2K19
  • FIFA 19

UPDATE: Nintendo confirms this decision was due to worries of save data manipulation/item duplication in online games
The Nintendo Direct originally planned from September 6th is officially rescheduled for tommorow, September 13th.

It is still approx. 35 minutes long and will focus on Switch and 3DS titles as well as the Nintendo Switch Online service which is launching on September 18th.

Telltale Games is on the verge of closing its doors.

They already announced that they're closing their doors. To think. I wanted to pitch one of my ideas to them. Sad that they did too much and that's what sort of ended them.

It's still developing a bit. At first it was said they'd be finishing the Walking Dead but now that's supposed to be cancelled too.

You would think they could at least wrap up Clem's story. That is absolutely a terrible way to leave fans hanging. I'm REALLY upset.
I have no pity for Telltale Games. People stopped buying their games because they made ones that none of their fans wanted, and in spite of the complaints rallied against them. It's annoying that this is how it ends. They screwed up, plain and simple, and I feel no sorrow for that. I do feel for fans and former employees though, they lost their ending to the Walking Dead, or their jobs to plain and stupid stubbornness.
While that may be a little true, I do hope that the people who worked for the company will have better luck elsewhere for finding a job. After all, they're human as well. I think Steve Purcell(Sam and Max) is now freelance, unless if he's still doing some work for Pixar.
I've seen game companies reaching out to Telltale employees on Twitter so here's to hoping they get new jobs fast.

I've also been foolishly clinging to hope that maybe, just maybe, the final season of the Walking Dead would get finished but folks involved with company have been coming forward. While nothing is official yet it sounds like the third episode was pretty close to being finished but 4 only had its script done.

All I'm asking is that someone steps forward and at least tells us how it was supposed to end. I know this might sound dumb but, even if I didn't like a fair amount of what happened in the games after season 1, I was still very invested in Clementine. I adored her.
In spite of the recent controversy surrounding the microtransactions of DMCV (basically it allows you to buy red orbs like in the Special Edition of DMC4) I am going to leave this here:

https://www.dualshockers.com/devil-may-c...-normally/

TL: DR Even if you are a scrub, you don't need to pay a single coin since the game is very generous with the Red Orbs.

The game does have microtransactions, yes. But those are entirely optional, the game is not build around those. The are using the same system from the 4th game.

But hey, if you don't want to take my word for it, then actually read the article. It was made by someone who played the demo. Or you can ask any person who plays DMC regularly and they will tell you that just because your weapons are more powerful doesn't mean you are automatically going to be better at the game. In other words, having a bunch of skills has nothing to do with how well you can use them all.

Either that or you can ask Matt Walker.

Capcom Shill.
While on the subject of telltale, what's to become of the IPS that they did? Who's going to own them now?
Telltale dig their own grave. For years the same repetitive formula where at some point in future games your decisions didn't even matter.

Also I hated the episodic thing. Having to wait months and months for the next episode was stupid. I once forgot about the game since it took so long to release the next episode that when I remembered I didn't bother.
