That was me even more worried than I already was. We also got news today or yesterday that the game changes from an Open World to a more linear game about half way through, which won't bother me much because I'm all about what moves the narrative the most, and if works best that way, it's fine. However, people are going to be very mad that A, the linear sections aren't really being shown in advertising, and B, that the game makes such a huge switch half way through. http://www.polygon.com/2016/8/26/1265981...e=facebook

Well, I tired to find a link, but no such luck, you'll have to check the Bandai Namco twitter for confirmation, but SAO: Hollow Realization just got a release date today of 11/8/2016 in the west.

The NieR: Automata devs have uploaded a video in which they teased a “big announcement” for their upcoming game.

While they didn’t give any info as to what the announcement would entail, it’s possible that it could be the game’s release date, which as of writing this has only been given a 2017 date.

I do miss the days when things were just announced instead of announcements being made about the announcement before it actually happens. "We announce that we are going to announce something. Aren't you excited?" Please, just say it when it's time instead of trying to hype it up like that, it's more annoying than anything else.
