Firewatch Developer uses DMC against PewDiePie

I'll cut to the chase, Pewdiepie used a very bad word(a racist one mind you) during a live-stream. The people behind firewatch are now filing a DMC take down. I sense his downfall is slowly beginning.
I don't normally do this, but I'm going to take the exact words I used on my page for this because I'm tired of repeating myself on the matter so sorry if it seems odd because I'm doing to like a report, as opposed to how I normally post here:

Ya know what, fuck it. I wasn't going to talk about Pewdiepie just yet but everywhere I look there's someone saying something and I can't avoid it, so here it is. First off, there's fault all over the place for this one. The media being the media jumped on this like a wildfire, even though it very well could have been a slip of the tongue, so fuck every one of them that did that. That said, he shouldn't have said it, and I won't defend it, but it's also possible that the word simply doesn't carry as much weight in Swedish culture which is what he's going to know best, so maybe think about that before having an overly emotional reaction to it. One thing I am not okay with, is this obvious abuse of power, that potentially violates the law, that's happening with firewatch: http://kotaku.com/indie-dev-calls-for-co...trikes-aga

That is just too much. He drops the word once, again possibly by accident, we can't say for sure yet, and the President, Sean Vanaman of Campo Santo Games not only react by publicly announcing a DMCA take down notice, and trying to start a witch hunt against Pewdiepie, which can by the way, be potentially considered illegal, but then insults the man like an angry child. Of course he backtracked a bit and tried to cover it up and all of that, but he still did it, and forgot his professionalism in the midst of it. There's just got to be a line in the sand drawn for this, because if this is successful, it runs the risk of a chain reaction where other developers who don't like what someone says, even if it's about their game, will file take down notices. In the past, take down notices were brought up when someone talked bad about a game that was bad, it happened at least three major times that I can think of three off the top of my head with Day 1, Gary's incident, The War Z and The Slaughtering Grounds, but those ones all kind of died out for the major reason that there was no grounds for what the developers did. With this though, you could have a lot of smart developers potentially making bad games and then say, take a line or two out of context from a video or review that a lot of people won't look up, and they'll agree with a take down notice even if someone it just talking crap on a bad game. Filing this take down is simply too far.

So to reiterate, basically what I'm saying is, I think people are overacting, but I won't defend Pewdiepie either, and the DMCA take down notice is total garbage and possibly bordering on illegal.

I will add for clarification's sake, that what I'm talking about when I say he acted like a child and then backtracked a bit, was when he called Pewdiepie a child, and said he's worse than a closeted racist, but then kind of backtracked some when he was said "I love streamers" and then talked about sending out 3000 keys of Firewatch to people as if somehow we needed that bit. He acted like a child with those insults and then tried to act like an adult, and then took the chance to show off. It bothers me a lot that he's called out for a witch hunt like that and I have lost all respect for someone who acts like that. I'm glad now I never bought Firewatch, because I'm never giving money to that company as long as he is a part of it.

FFIX is now on PS4 following rumors after it got rated about 10 hours prior: http://www.dualshockers.com/final-fantas...ps4-theme/

Monster Hunter World was given a worldwide release date of January 26th following the best trailer yet: http://www.dualshockers.com/monster-hunt...ease-date/

Other Remasters include Zone of the Enders 2: https://www.destructoid.com/zone-of-ende...1987.phtml and Dragon's Crown Pro was announced, compatible with PS4, PS3 and PS Vita versions: https://www.destructoid.com/dragon-s-cro...1995.phtml

Perhaps the most interesting story of all though, is Square's New IP, Left Alive. It has the producer of many a Final Fantasy, all of Kingdom Hearts, usually as an executive producer, The World Ends with you and Chrono Trigger for DS producing here, the director of the first Armored Core title, who worked on every following title since in some capacity, and the Art Director who left Konami with Kojima-san who is also working on Death Stranding, all working together: http://www.dualshockers.com/square-enix-...nabeshima/

That is a dream team all it's own if you ask me. Left Alive should be one of the most interesting and beautiful story based games ever made if all goes to plan.
