It was announced that a brand new title in the River City/Kunio-kun series is coming. The game is called River City Girls, and is being developed by WayFoward Technologies and overseen by Arc System Works.
EDIT: from the video description.
WayFoward Wrote:Join Kyoko and Misako for co-op beat-’em-up action as they brawl their way across town to rescue their boyfriends in the latest entry in the long-running River City (AKA Kunio-Kun) franchise!
The boyfriends in question are series' veterans Kunio and Riki. While we are at it, Kyoko and Misako aren't new characters either, nor is this the first time these two were portrayed as ass-kicking badasses (see: Shin Nekketsu Kōha: Kunio-tachi no Banka).
Think of it as Peach and Daisy saving Mario and Luigi for a change.

It took 14 years, but Metal Wolf Chaos XD is getting a western release.
