The only reason I'm not completely sure is because he looks more like the 2000's Teen Titan's Slade instead of Deathstroke himself from the comics. I guess considering a lot of the game has been based off of Batman: The animated series, it's entirely possible that they are going with TT's Slade instead, but no way to be sure just yet.

Yes and no. But mostly no.

Teen Titan's Slade is Deathstroke who is simply going by his first name. Deathstroke's real name is Slade Wilson. So I guess technically speaking you're kind of right. But that version of Deathstroke has only ever been seen in the Teen Titan's cartoon, and seeing as how TT is not considered a canon part of the animated DC "universe" (Batman:TAS, Superman, Justice League/Justice League Unlimited, Batman Beyond, and Static Shock [maybe/kind of?] which the game is supposedly loosely based on, it's pretty easy to see that "Slade" will most likely not be in Arkham Origins.

Also, Protip to Deadpool fans, Deadpool originated as a parody of Deathstroke. DP's real name is Wade Wilson.

Not one thing here was said that I didn't know. However, none of that means that either TT's cartoon Slade or the comic's original terminator will be in game. Lots of things go into concept that don't end up happening and one still image does not really set anything in motion or promise anything about him being in game.

I feel that if you knew all of what I already said, you'd understand that what your saying isn't very plausible. I'm not looking to argue or sound like an ass, but there is a very, VERY good chance that they'll use a version of Deathstroke that's closer to the source comics than the Teen Titans version.
I hope it's closer to Deathstroke. He'd be too light a character if he were based on any of his other media versions. I shudder at the thought that he might end up like Smallville or Arrow's interpretation. Can't say I know anything about his young justice version but perhaps his Injustice: Gods Among us version will be based more on the comics and we'll see something like that.

I was really hoping that Arrow would be good, but that sentence alone tells me all I need to know. I honestly haven't read a whole lot of Deathstroke, but Netherrealms seemed to handle him pretty well in MKvsDC, so it's a safe bet tht he'll turn out good in Injustice
Long stories short, they kept him in the military in Smallville so he never really became Deathstroke and in arrow, they made him some Australian spy which is of course wrong. Arrow did give him Wintergreen but he was also done incorrectly so it didn't really matter. I also didn't like that they mentioned Wintergreen, but as far as I know, there was no mention of Rose, Slade's daughter so a lot of the point of Wintergreen was lost.

Hmm... A remake to one of those games that shaped my childhood? (Either that or a M2 emulation of the Genesis/Mega Drive game with a possible Master System version to go with it) Just don't screw up Sega but sadly it is easier said than done, even then who knows? I don't know who is the developer for this since Sega is really inconsistant (as in ranging from the best of the best to games that are highly rushed/highly buggy/awful to play), that way it would either be good, a decent game or really bad.

With this and the DuckTales Remastered, Disney must be really busy with the licensing of the "old but highly remembered" games, update them and trying to make some easy money out of it. I wonder if either become successful enough, there would be more of the remakes of the Capcom (Chip & Dale, Darkwing Duck, Magical Quest series, Goof Troop) and Sega (Quackshot, World of Illusion, Lucky Dime Caper, Land of Illusion) games.

Man, I really hate when they wreck something really important and meaningful to a character just so they can throw it up on the screen.

I didn't play a whole lot of the Sega ones as a kid, but I did get some time with Castle of Illusions and loved it. Really happy to see that Disney is on board with remaking these games, because these games really mean a lot to us.
I would like to see this one becoming a game!!

Could not agree more. If you want to put a villain in a game, make them enough like the character they are based on to at least make them interesting. That goes for most characters really, reinventing, another version, these do not work, or at least not very often.
If you pre-order Project X Zone you will get a limited edition for the price of a regular one!

Here's the new English trailer:

In other news, Capcom still hates everyone. They deemed Darkstalkers as "non-profitable" despite Darkstalkers Resurrection making the best selling games list on US PSN store. Dafuq?
Project X Zone looks so freakin' sweet.
No Sonic though, how the hell did SEGA forget him?
I don't know that sonic would fit well in this game. I mean could you see him fighting Cosmos or Blackrose. That seems out of place.
