Telltale is getting sued by a former employee for not following the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act or WARN Act:

Personally, I think this is fine given the information we currently have that suggests pretty much everyone fired when the company went down over the weekend was given almost no warning, and only about 30 minutes to get out of the building after it happened, and without a severance pay, and given the seemingly overworked antics of the company, this seems fine to me. I wouldn't be surprised in fact if more people didn't also file cases against Telltale Games because it seems to me they have right to seek legal action from a number of different angles.
While I don't agree with former CEO Kevin Bruner's case, because it's "this alleged thing" or "that alleged thing there" if employees who were booted out so suddenly want to fight for something of a severance while they look for new work, or are simply seeking the damage that this sudden masse firing caused, I'm for it. Telltale was pretty much run by jerks for it's entirety, and it's employees deserve some compensation for that if they want to seek it out.

Oh for sure. Everyone there got fucked over HARD.
I read some former employees even saying that folks had just started working there that week and had moved for the job. They were treated like dirt and I hope justice is served.
Whelp. Telltale already pissed off it's employees, guess that means it's our turn:

Wow, I feel like we're going to be talking about the closure and it's after effects for a long time, this is what, the 5th or 6th major story about it already? Basically, the game has been removed from all Digital retailers, save for the e-shop of Nintendo Switch of all things, at least as of me writing this. I hope their's an explanation for it soon, like they found someone who will finish the series and they'll be announcing it in the near future, or they took it down because what is costs to keep it up is instead going to former employees who didn't get that severance. Otherwise, it just feels like they removed it so that they could stop us talking about it so much. If the next step is them making claims against YouTubers who have played the first two episodes, so that they can try and make more money off of it, or stop others from doing so, we'll be heading towards EA levels of bullshit here.
^And I thought what happened behind the scenes of Spumco was bad.
People.
Smash will be released at midnight at Best Buy locations.
I want that coin, but I don't want to wait for the game.
There is a Best Buy walking distance to me open for Smash.
I'm gonna go Smash on December 6th.
REMEMBER TO WEAR DEODORANT AND SHOWER ALL!

Someone took a screenshot of what the malicious messages they received looked like.
If you happen to open this message, the work around is to delete it on the smart phone app. Your system should be able to unbrick.
So, we all know that Discord is totally free. No ads. Just amazing.
However, there is a membership option for $5 a month. I love Discord, so I've signed up over a year ago.
They just launched a store. Since I've been an early adopter, I have access to all games available until 2020.
I fucking love Discord.

Apparently, I have access to most games for free.
