I'm not sure if I've seen something like this happen. I've seen that Garry's Incident incident but that was just a DCMA takedown.

Not even close, and yet nothing's ever come of it. I wouldn't worry too much about it honestly.
Honestly, I'm kind of surprised this wasn't already a thing. It seems pretty simple in retrospect.
DisneyWatch got a new short today.

Alas. Nintendo Wii U, we hardly knew you.
As someone who has only played Super Mario 3D World, I think I have many, many years of games to play, even if they discontinue the console :)
Looking forward to what they come up with next, though I don't think I'll get it.
I hope I'll be able to get a cheap one down the line with a whole bunch of games.
I dont know if they'll stop making games for the Wii U altogether, but they're moving onto the NX project. Which is assumed to be the case here. If they are still making games for the Wii U. Chances are the NX console will have backwards capability.

So...Nintendo finally caved to an assault of anti-woman vitriol - including Neo-Nazi white supremacists - and, after about five months of her being harassed, found a reason to fire Alison Rapp.
They updated their report. She was let go because she had another job which conflicted with Nintendo's standards.

Actually by the time I'd posted that the update was already included. She had was moonlighting under a pseudonym and Nintendo only fired her after someone one of the GGers essentially stalked her and reported her to Nintendo. And this is stage 2 of Nintendo trying to cave to GG. When the harassment first started, they forced her to change position within the company, rather than defend her. When they found a 'legitimate' reason to fire her, they dashed at the opportunity. Just a quick 2-minute search of LinkedIn gave me at least 1 male employee who moonlighted while working at Nintendo. He still works there, and he includes the moonlighting on his LinkedIn account. Rapp did the second job under a pseudonym, never identified herself as a Nintendo employee, but she had a vagina and the frat-boy neo-Nazis wanted her gone so she had to be fired.
