Despite the convention being cancelled, the ESA states they are currently organizing an "online experience to showcase industry announcements and news in June 2020."

So far, Microsoft and Ubisoft have confirmed their plans to hold digital events in place of traditional E3 conferences.

EDIT: Talking with Polygon, Nintendo says that they support the ESA's decision to cancel the convention but did not elaborate on their plans going foward.

Kotaku's Jason Schreier claims that Warner Bros. was planning on holding their very first E3 press conference this year.

The conference would have showcased new Batman and Harry Potter games as well as Rocksteady's new project.

Only eight days left.

Sega's teaser was only to announce the opening of their new 60th Anniversary website, which looks at the history and timeline of Sega as a company. Sega also revealed their new mascot 'Sega Shiro', who is the son of Segata Sanshiro (interestingly enough, the actors who portray Segata Sanshiro and Sega Sanshiro are father and son in real life too, respectively).
