X-COM 2
That is one of the worst trailer's I've seen in a long time. I mean, 4 heavily armed people hiding in an open and busy street like that is stupid, even more so because 3 of them hid behind holograms that people would be able to see through. The whole Batman "Bwahh" thing is not only far too tired and overused, it wasn't even used correctly, and I don't know that huge ship at the end had to wait for the one helicopter to land on it, accept for the epic shot cliche which isn't even done right because they are usually done with a reason, which this doesn't have. I'm happy Xcom 2 is happening, but this trailer sucks.

...You didn't play the last X-Com did you?
I did a for a few hours because I got it used at gamestop and gave it back to them after a few days, but that doesn't change the fact that this trailer is stupid.

Well, to start off, the new game is set to take place in the events of a game where in Enemy Unknwon/Within, X-COM lost. That means that everything you see, the humans walking the streets, the machines, everything is alien in one degree or another. That company, that's how they control people. They either physically can't notice things beyond the minor scope allowed because the aliens don't want to incite panic in the humans, or they really just want it to happen. You take cover behind signs like that all the time in Enemy Unknown when in alien ships so it stands to reason that it would still work. The "Batman" trope you're describing is something we usually throw at cyberpunk and secret organization genres, like say X-Com, a series that has capitalized on big cheesy set pieces, space marines, and Roswell style aliens since it started up. That big ship for the helicopter, that is your base. It is a re-purposed alien cargo ship. That's the only way they have to not be wiped out outright because they're outgunned, outnumbered, etc. The base from Enemy Unknown/Within is gone. Dead.
This base is of alien origin, its mobile, its all you have, and it doesn't raise suspicion. You don't send it out on missions. You use smaller transport, like a carrier.
So... Hatred released. It's getting surprisingly positive reviews.
I had a feeling it was trying to pull a Mortal Kombat. It looks like I was right.

Its a start, with this and the announcement of a new Megaman cartoon being on the way. I think its safe to say the blue bomber is preparing for a comeback.
They are trying to outdo Mighty No.9

It was a good plan to wait and see how that one would do, it was market testing without actually taking any risks. Not saying there wouldn't have been a demand for MM games but just a thought.
If this surprises anyone, I'll honestly be more surprised than said surprised person(s), but Uncharted 1, 2, and 3 are coming to PS4 for 60 bucks with a Multiplayer Beta for Uncharted 4: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/06/0...th-on-ps4/

That may be the case Mass. We all know that Mighty No. 9 is the ''Megaman game''(even though its a successor) from the creator of the series after dealing a never ending account of BS from Capcom's part. Maybe this is a sign that Capcom has finally saw the light of their mistakes. But its too early to tell at this moment. The only thing we can do is wait and see.

Just put links whenever you post a link.

After a while, you hardly notice you do them.

You've reminded me I need to play 999 and VLR.

Thanks for reminding me.
