Chapter 110 of Jojolion was published today. It's over... after 10 years  of publication, the 8th part of JoJo is over. Soon we are going to see the start of JoJo part 9.

"wait, 10 years?" - Yeah, the reason it lasted 10 years is because of monthly publication as opposed to weekly publication.

EDIT: JOJOLANDS is the tentative title of JoJo part 9.

Also of note, we have confirmation of a Jojo spinoff coming this winter that will feature Part 4 Josuke and Hol Horse. This spinoff manga is going to be written by Kohei Kadono (the author of Purple Haze Feedback and Boogiepop) and is being drawn by Tasuku Karasuma (the author and artist of No Guns Life).

So there's this somewhat new anime called Dorohedoro. I looked to see how old the manga was and I found out the manga began publication on November 2000. Almost 21 years old. I expected the manga to be pretty recent but nope!

The manga officially ended on September 12, 2018. It was a monthly Manga so that's the reason it lasted so long.

Speaking of Dorohedoro, there's this character named Noi who is canonically bigger than Jonathan Joestar from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Noi is 209cm (6'10 ft) tall and weights 124kg (273lbs). Jonathan Joestar is 195 cm (6 ft 5 in) tall and weights 105 kg (231 lb).

So I found out that 'How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?' takes place in the same universe as the Kengan Ashura/Omega. Huh, neat.

It's not a fan theory. That's actually confirmed.

EDIT: to avoid any confusion, Kengan Omega is the sequel series to Kengan Ashura.
