Uh, I call them casual as well, but I just wanted to say that, since it is. Much like how Halo was babby's first FPS. (Not me though, mine was Quake 3)

Eh, I'm a casual to anime, mostly because I don't watch or read any, apart from a select few.

The only two that set me apart are A Certain Magical Index which is pretty interesting, and Happy World, which no one I know has read.
The image looks kind of familiar but it's odd that this anime is clearly so popular and I have no idea about it. I mean, most of the anime's I watch aren't really that well known or popular, at least as of late, but I usually at least know what's popular. When did that anime come out?

2009.

(I don't agree with him in a few parts, but that's obvious bias since I love this anime. Still a good review/video regardless)

What anime do you usually watch?

Is that propaganda talk or is that true, because I haven't heard of it ever, then again I'm not the master or manga.

No, this is true.

These are the highest selling anime of the 21st century. You also have to remember that Monogatari is currently on going with the second season airing weekly, so the numbers will only rise more. A bit outdated, but -

(2011) *71,056 Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica [Shaft]
(2004) *68,732 Kidou Senshi Gundam Seed Destiny [Sunrise]

Oh, I just wasn't sure, because I never actually heard of it before.

That list actually surprises me quite a lot. Not one of the big three are on it and only a few the more common anime's people talk about are there, and they rank low, accept Magica, which is in my opinion, fairly overrated.
Actually, while the Big Three may be popular in the West, they aren't as popular as they are in Japan (which is the place where the big sells come from). Well, minus One Piece, but that's the manga specifically as it's literally miles above other Shonen manga in sales.

..

OH BOY, ANOTHER REASON TO LINK A GIGGUK VIDEO~

As for Meguka (yes, that's what I call it), I really love it, despite that I didn't watch it while it was airing and people hyping it were annoying.

Rep, what are some of your favorite anime? Just curious.
There's Kami-Sama no Memo-Cho, Full Metal Alchemist, Btooom!, Usagi Drop, Anohana, H20 Footprints in the sand, Hataraku Maou Sama, Manabi Straight, Myself; Yourself, They are my Noble Masters, Hyako, Hantsuki and Eureka 7. I could make a really long list if I wanted to but these are some of the ones I enjoy most and have watched more than once.
Did someone say the big three?
I am a One Piece and Bleach guy, though I have not seen ether in years. I will watch almost anything, though not Naruto for..... reasons.
The uh, text there kind of falls off to the side so you can't read what it says.

I kid, I kid. Though for the most part, the anime in your favorites are well known in the anime community, with FMA being big with people who don't even watch anime.
Well, I did say the anime I watch lately is mostly not popular, and ones I listed don't even make up 0.01% of what I've watched.
Curious, do you have a MAL, Hummingbird, AnimePlanet, Anilist, or one of the likes?
I've decided to catch up on Yugioh: The Abridged Series. Only it's been so long I'm having problems and thinking about actually just starting over.

I'm glad I still like it, though. Lately I've been becoming a killjoy and I think a lot of stuff I used to find funny stupid.
