It happened fairly shortly with one of the AMV Hells. I'd linked my friend to it and they told me one of the parts ended up muted. But yeah, I think all the other ones have been good.

Started reading Koe No Katachi, and I can't stop laughing at this kid.

It revolves around a deaf girl going to a school and it affects this kids life. He keeps making fun of her in different ways and one way he does it is by rolling up a piece of paper and shouting in it behind her to see if she's really deaf.



I know I shouldn't laugh, but I don't know sometimes it just makes me laugh.

I've been watching Trigun and it sure took a turn in tone. It started out as super cheesy and now it's super cheesy, but with a bit of seriousness thrown in. I really like it.

I'm going to be that other guy and say that both have their high and low points.

I wasted my time and watched AMV Hell 7. It was sooo bad. I think I only liked 3 clips, but nothing made me laugh out loud. They need to stop now.

The movies are usually hit and miss. While I still think the third one is the best out there, 6 was almost as good. The first two were good, 4 was bland, 5 was okay, Championship Edition was above average, 0 made me laugh and /0 was... Well, it was a thing. Haven't seen 7 yet but I honestly don't mind them keeping at this as long as we occasionally get good ones like 3, 6 and 0. I'm starting to see a pattern here. AMV Hell 9 hype!

It's just this one especially left a bad taste in my mouth. Too much violence, boobs, and nothing was clever. It was mostly music that fit with a scene, but in a very "meh" way. There was nothing that matched the Princess Mononoke Snickers commercial, Porco Roso Tailspin, or the Gurren Laggan Johnny Bravo. Nobody had any good ideas.

Oh, and I watched the first episode of Kill La Kill. I'm super interested to see more, but that outfit... It's just way too fanservicey xD

By the way, I honestly can't remember if the Sailor V deal was a thing in the original anime or not, it's been such a long time. I don't remember that part of the plot though.

I'm actually behind. I saw the episode where Jupiter was recruited and haven't watched anymore because I keep forgetting. If you mean Sailor V pretending she's the Moon Princess, then no; they didn't put that in the original anime. That's a manga thing. If it's something different, then I'm drawing a blank about what you're talking about.

 

I just finished Trigun and holy shit did I love it. I'll get around to the movie later, I'm going to be too busy watching Attack on Titan next.

Oh! Yeah, Sailor V was a thing in the original anime as well! She went by that until she joined up with the others.
