It's sort of like the whole Abdul/Avdol deal. In pretty much all the media I've read and watched, it's Abdul but for some reason in the older games and hell I think in the newer Jojo game it's Avdol.

Also, I think Samurai was just stating the obvious (assuming he hasn't seen Jojo), and if we started to randomly talk about stands and they all have names from songs and it seems we're oblivious to the fact, mentioning it wouldn't hurt.

I mean I didn't know they were named after songs until around Part 4 when someone told me. Since the only songs/bands I recognised were like Red Hot Chilli Peppers and there weren't any noticeable ones (for me) until Part 5.

His name is spelled アヴドゥル in Japanese, which reads as 'avuduru'. It uses the katakana ヴ instead of ブ, which is read as 'bu', so the name has always been intended to be written and pronounced with a 'v'. The most correct romanization would be 'Avdul'.

AniMcDonalds. What a time to be alive.
Just finished Season 1 of Kaiji. Now, that's a good anime. I enjoyed Restricted Rock Paper Scissors a lot more than E-Card and the final lot draw. I thought that the anime was going to only be on the ship, and that it would be about going up levels with different sets of games and with several winners coming out on top. I would've preferred that, but the anime was great none the less.

If anyone has seen it, take a gander at the 4kids opening for a laugh.

I felt that if I found this anime myself, I probably would've read the manga instead because I always seem to read manga more than watch anime.

Music is really cool too.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a worldwide trending topic at Twitter!

So today I got around and watched the first episode of jJoJo part 4 and it was amazing.

First: the episode had one of the best cold openings I have ever seen, and best in anime by far; I mean seriously, that was some Breaking Bad levels of cold.

Second: both of Josuke's fights were great, especially once you see stuff getting 'fixed'.

Third: The anime only scenes such as Spoiler: the meeting of Angelo and the robber  and the crowd shot that I posted below (FORESHADOWING) were a nice touch. To be fair, these kind of scenes were always welcome in JoJp, because those scenes have an actual purpose, ranging from fanservice for the manga readers, fixing some minor plot holes, more characterization, etc.

So I watched the second episode of the JoJo part 4 anime, and guess what?

The ending song is NOT All Star by Smash Mouth! (a.k.a the Shrek song)

Hahahaha! HAHAHAHAAA

The Meme is Dead! The Meme is DEAD!
I'm sorry, I could not be Happier right now.

EDIT: here's the original song, btw

The song is called "The final confession on Earth", dunno about the anime.....
