Should work now.
Osaka is still best girl, though I do like her as well~
I'll need to finish watching the anime to make final judgement, but I actually think Kimura might be even creepier than Shioji from Excel Saga, and that's really saying something. The two of them would be BFFs.
I just can't believe Kimura is married AND has a daughter. Does his wife not realize he's a pedophile? He better not do anything gross to his daughter... *shudder*. Ugh... Throwing in a character like him took me completely by surprise. This would be an anime you could watch in front of you parents if it weren't for him.
Finished Azumanga Daioh last night. I stayed up far too late doing so, in fact. Quite a bit of humor was lost in translation, but I still liked it. I was just so glad Sakaki got her kitten! That other cat is such a bastard; making her think in the last ep it was OK to pet it!
I think this is probably one of my favourite fight scenes in any anime I've seen.
Granted, I've only seen about 10, I still find this to be good.
I watched Watamote; it's even more uncomfortable then the manga. The moment when she ends up wiping her face with a pair of panties instead of a handkerchief made me cringe so bad. Poor girl.
Haha, I love Watamote. It's just too funny sometimes, sure there is a lot of odd moments, but damn I just love it too much.

Yeah, I'm a fan of both works. While the manga serves better to offer more quick laughs with its panels, the anime decided to take a different direction by emphasizing some of the more awkward scenes and to tie it all together with the theme at the very end. I praise the manga for being more comedic, but the anime did a well job in feeling very satisfactory as it tackled the issue more head on. Both have good qualiites and I enjoy them both.
I don't know what's worse.
Anime openings dubbed Japanese with English subtitles, or Anime Openings dubbed Japanese with Phonetic Subtitles
**** you guys. **** you. Now I have another series on my never ending list.
I recently started watching HunterXHunter(2011) and it's absolutely awesome, but now I have to wait for episodes to come out.
Oh man, you just gotta love anime plots. You hate science so much that you are willing to kill everyone who uses it because your little brother died in an amusement park attraction that someone told you was "scientifically safe". Who even says that about some attraction?
Yo' Steins;Gate is pretty good you know.
I still hate that long opening though.
I'm glad Naruto is done with fillers for now. Must have been a good 3-4 months worth of fillers doing backstory on a character which is fine but I feel the show gave most of what you need to know for that character and didn't need the endless fillers that show is want to do.
I'm guessing because the show caught up with the manga and needed to give some distance between it and the show which is always weird to me of an anime that catches up to an ongoing manga. I'm sure there is a logic to why the animation studios create an anime based off a manga, but wouldn't you want it like at least 6-7 volumes apart so you can take the time to make and produce the show so that by the time you are done with the first volume story arc the manga is probably 4-5 volumes more into its story from when the anime aired.
I don't know, I'm rambling in my head at this point.

I'm not sure if you're talking about the VN or the anime, but at least in the VN that's what's supposed to get you interested before you make your journey to the world that they have painted for you and actually serves as exposition for anyone who already knows the end of Steins;Gate. As for how it serves as exposition
It's Okabe (Rintaro) from the future talking about how he killed Kurisu trying to escape to the beta worldline, and how he didn't want that to happen ever and how depressed and crushed he feels because of it, which will then continue into the story, and it reaches full circle in the end when Okabe is actually able to save Kurisu, due to help from future Okabe that spent his entire life trying to figure out how to save Kurisu.
Also for anyone upset about knowing a shit ton about the story before they wanted to because they read the spoiler, that's why it's a spoiler stupid.
Really makes me regret getting the ADV and Geneon releases all that time ago. ADV's copies were bootleg picture and sound quality while Geneon screwed up the subtitles. Not to mention there's one episode missing out of Sailor Moon R since the manga creator hated it.
What makes this such a big deal is that they're making a new English dub and actually releasing Stars (I bought a bootleg of that which was actually terrific quality). I actually wish they'd try to get Chibi-Usa's English VA back since she sounded almost exactly the same as the Japanese one.
Sailor Stars won't be a big deal nowadays, but it would have been shocking to Americans in the 90s. Lots of lesbian themes, dudes that turned into women, and Sailor Moon is naked in the final fight. Sure she had Barbie Doll details, but imagine trying to censor that for the kiddies.
I just can't wait to hear the English cast shout out the Engrish attack names. "Starlight-Honeymoon-Therapy-Kiss!" and "Gentle Uterus!" stick out the most.
I'm more excited for Sailor Moon Crystal since it's going to stick to the manga. I cannot wait to get the Rei I fell in love with and not her bitchy original anime counterpart.
