I am OK with this.

Here's the part 2 of the video.
I really want to get up to date with Berserk, but holy crap it's just become such a bore to read.

The scans along with the fact that characters in the frame keep changing between Guts and crew and the midland fighting is just something I really don't care for, and then Guts will inadvertent get into another 300 page fight I really don't want to read again.

I doubt the creator will ever finish Berserk to be honest, and if he does it'll be Guts suppiku with that big sword after he lost everything and finds out he can't kill 5 beings while he's a human.
Does anyone know of some good ongoing series to watch? I've kind of exhausted everything I've been watching. I don't really have any preferences as long as it's not a sequel series, because I've missed a couple of seasons of some anime's and I don't really like to watch anything that spans too long these days.

You could watch some short anime series.

Ping Pong the Animation is great and only 11 episodes.
I know there's a topic for it, but I'm guessing not everyone looks at it if they're not interested in the show.

If I had to see this you have to see it.
Re:Zero is pretty good. If you've watched Konosuba, its like the serious equivalent that tries to be less trope-y and isn't a comedy.

Konosuba got into our anime soc's weekly showing (12 weeks in a term, so we show a short series every week) and honestly it was pretty much trash.

Every time it came on, no one would watch it and people would leave immediately which dwindled the numbers down to me, my friends and the regulars.

Konosuba single handedly killed our anime society.

I actually tried Re: Zero and decided I could not stand it. It reminds me of everything that's wrong with SAO.
I would have to disagree on that bit. SAO has a protagonist that has everything go well for him for plot reasons while the protag of Zero gets dragged through the mud to do simple things.

I mean it in the "normal guy ends up in an RPG" sense. The tone is completely different.
