High Score Girl's getting an anime if I didn't mention it before. It's looking pretty good if you're interesting in Japanese arcade and home vidya from the 90's. You can even see the PC-Engine in all it's glory a minute and a half in.
Happy birthday, Akira Toriyama!

Happy 20th anniversary, Cowboy Bebop!
Happy birthday to you, bringer of good gags and spawner of massive franchises.

This deserves more views!

I am honored.
Isao Takahata, Co-Founder of Japan's Studio Ghibli, Has Died

The Soul Eater anime is now 10 years old.
Been watching Ghost In The Shell again recently. Its a great series for casual body horror and mecha designs.
I'm just going to leave this here so Psycospacecow can find it.
Eh, that was pretty cute.
For future reference: Do you guys know about any legal alternatives to Crunchyroll (other than Netflix and Hulu, the later is isn't even available in my country) ?

I don't think I want to support Crunchy after the shit they just did on Danmachi: Memoria Freese. Not because I like those type of games, but because that is simply something unethical for a company to do.

Have you tried asking reddit? They usually give some good advice for this kind of stuff.

I don't really use Crunchyroll for any anime/manga in general, so I can't help you there man.

I don't properly use Reddit as much as I used to. Nowadays I prefer to lurk in the shadows.
There's Anime Labs I think it was called, the Australian Crunchyroll, but I think that's region exclusive.
Day 499: Vento Aureo is not confirmed.

You wanna know what's confirmed, thought? The TV broadcast date for the Ensemble Stars anime.

Yes, I know that an animation studio cannot live off a single-IP, but still.... not even 2019? Are we going to wait until 2020 (or more) in order to see JoJo part 5 in animated form?

Sure, there's also the possibility that they have multiple teams working on different projects but, the idea of a relatively small studio working on the new Captain Tsubasa anime, Ensemble Stars AND Vento Aureo at the same time is just...... off.
