Alright Akagi has seriously become so fucking hilarious I just have to post about it.

So right now Akagi has won a hand off Washizu, and had taken 800cc's of his blood, putting him up to 1900cc's. This is a very lethal amount of blood to take from an old man, and Washizu slumps down on the table, dead.

Akagi doesn't believe this, and steps up on the table and starts standing on Washizu's head with his foot.

No seriously.

Washizu suddenly awakens in this new place that looks like a bar. He notices several demon looking people playing around with human bodies. (The demons are huge in this regard, the humans are around the size of rats) Some throwing darts into them, others using them as players in foosball. Washizu escapes narrowly and finds a whole hideout of humans in the wood work.

Washizu decided that he is not fit to be scum in hell and decided TO FUCKING OVERTHROW HELL. He starts a small rebellion to get the leader to show himself to the group, and when he does he starts to climb him and stab him with toothpicks. Entering his mouth to try and slice his insides.

Suddenly, the king of hell appears and tells Washizu that he is one of the most vile people he has ever seen, and will be tortured for eternity. The king won't even see the end of his term because he'll die and the crown will be passed down to the next generation.

Washizu smiles and says "So you'll fucking die then!" and starts to laugh saying he'll survive longer than he will. Soon enough the King gets annoyed with his actions and begins to step on him. Through this he remembers his life, and his final fight with Akagi.

By doing so, he has gained a link back to this life and begins to grow and grow until he is bigger than the king himself.

The king, shocked starts to become scared of Washizu. Washizu soons starts to grow bigger and bigger until he notices an opening in the ceiling, and thinks it must be an exit.

He turns to the King and says this.

Remember guys, this is a manga about Mahjong.
^You already persuaded me to read that Manga about the poo-flinging bloke, and now this ?
10/10, am ready to be entertained.
So a comparison between the TV and Blu-Ray versions of the 27th episode of the JJBA: Diamond is Unbreakable anime has been released online.

Regarding Shinobu... while there is an improvement in some shots, in others it feels more like an outright change in style. The Blu-Ray version gives her stage 6 anime eyes and makes her look more like a moe blob.

They also make her look way too timid as well, the context for the scene she is featured on is her being all like “Bet that fucker’s not even gonna drink this tea”, which you can see in her expressions in the TV version, meanwhile the Blu-Ray just gives her a complete blank face.

I'm perfectly fine with all the other changes, though.
‘Tokyo Ghoul’ Fans Demand Ishida Commit Suicide After New Chapter

Well, there you have it. Another proof that shipping is a cancer that should be stripped upon regardless of the fandom.

Moving into more happy-esque news, 'Hunter x Hunter' manga resumes June 26th in Shonen Jump

I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't mind if this concept was fleshed out as a short series of OVA's.
I decided to spend a day to watch a whole Anime in one go, funnily enough I decided against it the day before due to not wanting to waste the day and instead forced a friend to watch 9 episodes of Kaiji with me. So all in all, I wasted the day whether I liked it or not.

The anime I chose was Madoka Magica. Mainly because I was spoiled on the fate of a certain character and the person who spoiled it to me said "Well you should've watched it anyway". It really pissed me off and I decided that I might as well watch it just because of that.

Spent the whole day watching it, and gotta say. I hate when people tell me big things about anything before I indulge in it, telling me "DUDE IT'S LIKE THE DEEPEST AND WACKIEST ANIME EVER, IT'S SO WEIRD TIME TRAVEL AND WITCHCRAFT YOU SHOULD WATCH IT" is such an annoying thing for me. It's spoiling what looks like a cutesy anime about magical girls. It's like spoiling the fact Spoiler:Arnold is the good guy in Terminator 2 for people who know NOTHING about Terminator at all, but you're assuming they not only know, but it's REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE to watch the damn film.

Although for Madoka, it was a pleasant surprise because what people told me about it didn't really spoil it much. Sure, I knew it was wacky and not what you'd expect from first glance, and the spoiler happens early on and isn't much of a problem. Spoiler:What was cool about it was that, Madoka actually doesn't become a magical girl until the last episode due to the plot of the show which is surprisingly good. Hell Madoka is barely the main character, everyone else becomes a magical girl and in the process you learn why she can't become a Magical Girl.

It's honestly a great anime, and it's such a shame people have to tell you why it's good otherwise you'll overlook it. In the end finding the anime and everything about it, will result in you knowing it's not what it looks like and thus ruins a small part of it, but this is made up by you really NOT KNOWING what you're in for.

Spoiler:The fact that one character keeps going back in time to prevent Madoka from dying would've been a cooler if I hadn't seen it done before in Steins;Gate. When it happened the first time in the show, I just thought of Steins;Gate. Not saying it was bad, but it was kind of a let down.

Overall, great anime, and Mami's transformation theme is really good.

I don't know how this came into existence.... but I'm glad it did:
So I recently found out about this dude named 'Gorkab' who happens to make an videos series know as CGM (I'm going to assume it stand for "Computer Generated Cinema"), which details the origins of CGI in cinema, way back to Westworld (1973). This episode in particular, details the origins of CGI in Anime:

Make sure to turn captions on for the English subtitles since the audio is in French.

Oh yeah, by the moment I posted this most of the episodes (not counting this one, obviously) don't have subtitles. What a shame.
I'm not usually a huge anime fan, not that I dislike it really or anything most of it just doesn't grab me, but you know, Kimi no Na wa. (Your Name) just makes me really happy watching it. Not 100% sure why, I guess it just feels really optimistic :)

Also watching the Ghost Stories dub for the first time and hollllly god I'm loving it.
^

That's because you're watching two of the best you can get. Your Name was an incredible manga/movie, and Ghost Stories is a hilarious dub.

You should watch Golden Boy's dub if you haven't. That's really funny as well.

"Saga of Tanya The Evil" is a good show about a bad guy.
Yep. Its the kind of show you watch and hate the main character for all the right reasons.
I watched the first 5 episodes of Nichijou...eh. Not really my thing.
