Pfft, ha! I didn't even recognize the Manglobe one.
Gotta say, the new DBZ movie didn't disappoint.

What, Battle of Gods? You saw it? Where?! I NEED TO KNOW!
Billy Bat has manga artists, ninjas, segregation, Jesus, and conspiracy's. So yeah, it's been fantastic so far.
Disclaimer: Cursing ahead.

Jesus fucking Christ! What I absolutely cannot stand is retarded anime writers who can't write a believable scenario for shit! Seriously, fuck these people. You know what's a good idea? Let's make a secondary character that appeared in one episode an unstoppable killing machine because why the fuck not. Like, I wouldn't mind if a character is really good at killing things if their background story is being a trained assassin and all but holy shit, can you not try to make her look like a "badass" by standing ten feet away from US special forces soldiers and them shooting at her for almost a minute NOT HITTING ONCE, only to have her shoot over her shoulder and kill every one of them in one shot. It's seriously painful when these dickwads are making a "realistic" series only to have mary sue characters like this. Even I can shoot a target from almost 500 meters and I am by no means any "special forces" unit. Besides even I could write somthing like "and then she took cover" or something. GOD. They have officially ruined a series I once loved to death. Thank you, assholes. Oh, and right now I'm talking about the third season of Black Lagoon, though this does apply to everything else too.

I was gonna post this in the vent thread but hey, it's anime related so deal with it.

Ah man I watch the first season of Black Lagoon and man that was hilariously bad. To me, it seems like that what's the original intention of the Anime, "to be terribly made with decentish action scenes" but when you look at the Anime as a whole, it doesn't go anywhere. It's where the Moe infection started to be honest.
Still though, funny as heck series.
Moe? In Black Lagoon? What?

I actually loved the first season, as I mentioned in the post. They just made it terrible in the third with the whole ridiculous Roberta thing. Besides, I'm mostly complaining about bad writing here.
I just heard about this show called "Attack On Titan." Anyone got anything to say? Should I watch it or just pass it up?

Are you blood shy?

It starts out kind of slow in the first few episodes and the plot doesn't get too extremely fast because its on the ground, what's happening to everyone, but it gets pretty good.
What what what. Where to begin.

@Mass Distraction - While I do actually really enjoy Black Lagoon S1 and S2, it never really had realistic scenes and perfect writing in the first place. It's to be enjoyed as a B Action flick while it can have some good moments of writing, most of the events were extremely ludacris and over the top that don't make any sense. Other than the obvious barrage of bullets that always seem to miss, how can we forget this little scene?

That's not to say that it had terrible writing though as the development of Rock (which I here is expanded in the OVA, though I need to see myself) was interesting as he begins to change his ideals and attitude once thrown into the crime filled lifestyle that he is in and the stories while not realistic, were still very engaging and kept you interesting.

@Code - Moe infestation, what?

I do remember that scene but apart from the crazy action scenes the series was more on the "realistic" side than, say, Naruto and so many others. Not to the extent of something like Ghost in the Shell but still on the more realistic side. I just hate when someone is invincible just because and trained soldiers are made to look like mentally challenged people clad in army clothes. Actually, I take that back. Those mentally challenged people would definitely do better.

Again, I did enjoy the first two seasons. The third one is just so bad it hurts me.
So hey, a lot of you watched One Piece, right? How far did the awful 4Kids version get?

I ask this because I saw this character called Sadi-Chan and I'm guessing besides drastic clothing censorship they would've had to cut like 80% of her scenes and change a lot of her dialogue and delivery.

They made it to episode 143, but due to skipping around and combining and removing whole episodes, it's really 104.

I think they would have found a way to cover her up and remove any ties to "Sexual themes" that may come off with her character.
heh, 4kids.
So, I just finished the third season of Black Lagoon. I wish I hadn't.

SPOILERS AHEAD, if someone insists on watching this crapfest.

End of rant.
