KOF XIII is $5 on the Humble Store for a couple more hours, and I'm staring at it wondering if I should go for it.
Anyone here own KOF XIII on PC?

She's back boyz!
I'm pretty much dropping out of KI when Season 3 hits. I'm pretty sick of the nerfs and buffs Iron Galaxy are doing. It's early so I can't really grade it, but Kim-wu just looks so unpolished.

I do but rarely play it. The game is pretty much dead now :(
Skipped XIII so I'm waiting for XIV. On PS4.

Missing out. KoFXIII is a phenomenal game.
I know but there are only so many games I have time to play.

It's too early for this, I think. I mean, new patches and characters have been very recent and still under-tested. There's a new patch confirmed soon, and two more characters. I feel that we can all agree on the highest and lowest characters as of right now, but I feel uncomfortable about a full tier list just yet.

What do you think guys?
He says that, but like it or not, it doesn't matter how easy you make a fighting game, it's already going to have that stigma or being too hard. Street Fighter x Tekken and Marvel vs Capcom 3 are easy as hell to play but no-one is going to want to play/learn them based on this learning curve. Same with Street Fighter 5. The max type of combos you'll be getting is like 5 hits combined with no more 1 frame links but it's a fighting game at the end of the day. If people will still hide behind "it's too hard" it's always going to be an alienating experience. Street Fighter 5 is a very easy game to play, anyone can play it but trying to convey that message isn't going to work.
I've played plenty of SFV and it's really easy for execution and combos but it's the genre as a whole. Even then combos aren't everything.
I agree with Ono in that only taking on hardcore player feedback isn't the only feedback to take on, but they are the most educated on the game and genre, as such they have the most knowledge of the game.
I say the same about Smash Bros Melee to Smash Bros 4, as "bad" as it sounds, the only people who do genuinely care about Smash 4 are the ones who are going to be playing it in 10 years time. Once the next Smash comes out for NX, then the 'casuals' will hop on that bandwagon.
A new trailer (perphas the opening cinematic?) for sf5 has be revealed!
Things to notice:
- Ryu is now Goku
- Karin is as gracious as ever
- Mika and Zangief are awesome!!!!
- The ruins in the Waterfall stage belong to Charlie, not Necalli
- Bison is awesome as hell once again
- Charlie will battle Bison in the final chapter of the Story
- Rashid is confirmed to be good
- Ryu will battle Necalli in the final chapter of the story (the trailer pretty much lets you know Necalli is the boss)
- Necalli is a Satsui no Hado vacuum?
